We bring pet owners, local pet shops and service providers together in one trusted place. Pet Union helps people care for their pets by making it easy to discover products, book services, share pet stories and get reliable delivery from local vendors.

What We Do

Marketplace: multi‑vendor listings for pet food, accessories, grooming and more.
Pet profiles: create profiles, share photos and connect with other pet owners.
Local services: book grooming, boarding, training and veterinary appointments.
Fulfilment & shipping: integrated shipping options and pickup scheduling for vendors.
Pet events: discover and add local pet events — adoption days, vaccination clinics, training workshops, meetups and community fundraisers. Vendors and community organisers can create event listings, sell tickets, and promote activities to nearby pet owners.
Classifieds: buy and sell second‑hand pet items, rehome pets responsibly, and list services in our classifieds section. Classifieds support images, descriptions, contact preferences and location filters to help local transactions.

Vendors manage their own listings and fulfilment; Pet Union facilitates payments, shipping integrations and customer support. Community organisers and vendors can post events, classifieds and social activities subject to our policies and animal welfare rules.

Pet Union runs a range of social features and community programmes designed to connect pet owners and support local pet businesses:

Community Q&A: topic‑based discussion boards for training tips, breed advice, local recommendations and lost & found notices.
Local meetups: organise or join neighbourhood dog walks, playdates and breed‑specific gatherings.
Volunteer programmes: coordinate volunteer days with shelters, adoption events and community outreach.
Charity drives: fundraising campaigns and donation drives for local rescues and welfare organisations.
Groups & clubs: create or join interest groups (e.g., agility, senior pet care, exotic pets) to share resources and events.

All social activities must follow our community guidelines and animal welfare standards. Event organisers and group admins are responsible for ensuring safe, lawful and humane practices.

For Vendors

Pet Union is built for multi‑vendor operations. Vendors register, list products, set origins for fulfilment and manage returns. We support multi‑origin pickup workflows so each pet shop can ship from its own address.

Vendor onboarding includes address verification, bank details for payouts and acceptance of marketplace policies.

Shipping Partner

We partner with Bob Go to provide live courier quotes, scheduled pickups and locker (Bob Box) delivery options. Vendors who opt into the Bob Go integration can generate waybills, schedule collections and track shipments from the Pet Union dashboard.

If you prefer another carrier, vendors may arrange shipping independently — just ensure tracking and fulfilment promises match your listings.

Returns & Refunds

Returns are handled by the vendor that sold the item. When a return is requested we provide an RMA and the item must be returned to the pet shop that fulfilled the order unless otherwise agreed. See our Returns Policy for full details.

We are a small, passionate team of product builders, pet lovers and logistics specialists based in Tshwane, Gauteng. We combine marketplace technology with local knowledge to help pet shops grow and pet owners find what they need.
